This is how I do hands really fast. I hope it makes sense. I usually start with the "square palm with stick fingers" then go into defining the 'L' (forefinger and thumb).
The 'L' is the best way to go but they're only hands so you can draw them like youd start drawing anything else. No sweat, friends!
Also to whoever is crying that this is a "gnome thing" I just want to poimt out this issue of epiphany.
Epiphany is the default browser of both GNOME and Elementary (dual platform!) and also affected by this. Supporting this doesn't mean that apps should be single platform but they rather get to choose what platform their are supporting.
Fifteen years ago, the Philippines had nearly eliminated measles.
But since January, the country has had one of the worst outbreaks in the world: more than 33,000 cases and 466 deaths.
I've just released Glue 0.6, there are too many changes to mention in a toot, this is likely the last release before 1.0.
First however I need to build a website.
See the release notes for more: https://github.com/measlytwerp/glue-rs/releases/tag/0.6.0
I could really use some help proofreading a tutorial I've been working on.
I'm a dyslexic high school dropout, and I swear if I look at this for a minute longer I'm going to go mad.
If you find anything, have any suggestions, please open a bug:
Or just poke me here if you can't be arsed.
Alabama bans Arthur episode over same sex marriage
#Alabama Public Broadcasting bans episode of kids' show Arthur, that portrays a same sex marriage. Perhaps forcing the Confederacy back into the Union was a mistake https://edition.cnn.com/2019/05/21/us/arthur-alabama-public-television-trnd/index.html
The Victorian Socialists secured enough votes to receive $41k to pay for election bills.
Not bad, but no where near as much as PHON or UAP.
Libertarians seem confused about being banned from #leftists:matrix.org.
oh you know, just state violence against women
HTML is itself limited in the structures it can represent, there is no common format for a chat log for example.
Some of that can be solved by common micro formats.
This isn't nearly as big of a problem as GUI toolkits which deal with accessibility in entirely other ways.
Can Qt or Gtk describe the interface they're rendering in a way that would allow a little portion of it to be copied and shared?
If we wanted to give screenshots semantic meaning then we'd need a common language and structure in which to convey that information.
We almost have this in HTML, wouldn't it be nice if you could copy from a website and paste it into mastodon as an attachment?
It should look and have exactly the same semantic meaning as it did in the browser.
I am an Australian leftist and anarchist curious, who streams sometimes, does software development other times and writes bad poetry at any time.
A mastodon instance for anarchists and libertarian socialists.
