What I run into quite often on here is that white people that id as queer believe that gives them license to be a straight dickhead to people of color, and when we call them dickheads, they usually deploy we're HOMOPHOBIC.

That is some privileged white non-sense that they use to assert control over and exchange. A LOT of white 'progressives on here do this.

You can be gay and an asshole. You can be trans and still be a trash person.

I just came across a project that encourages people to sell their private data.
Their overall argument is that it is great when companies can buy private data directly from people and if one has the choice to consent which data they want to share with whom.

While we live in a capitalist society, that "consent" might be forced by people sharing their data,
- without understanding the impact
- to gain access to resources that capitalism is otherwise is blocking access to
- with those wanting to gain the data hiding informations based on their capitalistic interests
